BoomSatsuma’s Exhibition Showcase features the work of thirteen budding photographers. It offers viewers the chance to encounter an array of distinct visual voices shaped through sustained exploration and curiosity.
From the rawness of documentary narratives to the glamour of fashion editorials, BoomSatsuma’s Exhibition Showcase reminds viewers of photography’s capacity for stylistic variation. Each young talent approaches and informs their camera work with their own methods of storytelling, conceptual framing and aesthetic drive, resulting in work that reframes the world around them through their own individual lens.
The combination of wildlife observation, human stories, abstract visuals, and fashion fantasies positions the camera as a vessel for one’s point of view, an instrument allowing each photographer to reveal what captivates and catches the eye. The showcase is also a snapshot in itself, capturing a key moment in the creative development of this artistic cohort.
