Celebrating three decades of collaborative making, Hidden Gems marks the 30th anniversary of the Gordano Textile Artists collective. Each artist responds to the theme of “Hidden Gems” through stitch, print, mixed media, and collage, spanning both two- and three-dimensional works. From intricately stitched miniatures to expansive wall hangings and sculptural forms, the exhibition explores the overlooked, the precious, and the quietly radiant. A special series also explores the pearl, symbol of a 30-year milestone — reimagined through textile innovation and experimentation.
About the Artists:
Formed in 1995, Gordano Textile Artists are based in Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire.
