Drift is an open call exhibition sponsored by Folk House Darkroom, Bristol, curated by Fra Beecher and Sophie Sherwood.
Artists will be exploring light-sensitive processes that have been left intentionally unfixed, meaning they will continue to change.
The work in this exhibition uses alternative and traditional analogue light-sensitive photographic mediums. This will mean that light in the gallery space will have an active role in the images and how they turn out, making it an ongoing process of development
Expect to see work exploring techniques such as chemigram, lumen, anthotype, cyanotype, pinhole and more. There will be an opportunity to make your own light-sensitive prints during the show through drop-in participation and scheduled workshops.
