MURMUR/ation gathers Bristol-based artists at transformative points in their practice for an interdisciplinary exploration of movement, connection, and collective expression. Taking inspiration from the shifting patterns of starlings, the exhibition reflects on how individual voices intersect and disperse within shared creative space.
Through painting, sculpture, installation, and sound, the works trace murmurs between nature, the body, memory, and transformation, revealing a dialogue between the personal and the collective.
Curated by baffcage collective, a Bristol-based curatorial group committed to non-hierarchical collaboration, MURMUR/ation unfolds through conversation rather than directive. Each artist moves to their own rhythm, yet together their practices form a living choreography of image, sound, and form.
MURMUR/ation celebrates multiplicity, interdisciplinarity, and becoming: an assembly momentarily gathered in resonance before taking flight again.
