Holland Otik presents a collaborative exhibition in partnership with The Museum of Roadside Magic. Together, they present a selection of works defined by this shared fascination with ritual, folklore and the handmade object.
Holland Otik is an artist and maker based in the South West of England. Her practice explores figurative artefacts and masks drawn from ritual traditions, which are constructed from a diverse and often unconventional range of materials. Each ceremonial piece she creates carries its own symbolic narrative, sitting somewhere between sculpture, costume, and totem.
The Museum of Roadside Magic is a collaborative project and travelling archive curated by Libby Bove. Their exhibitions often include research, performance and storytelling centred on folk traditions, magical practice and plant knowledge.

A relaxed, hands on sewing exercise with Holland Otik, we will be making reclaimed textile poppets to be used as a container and companion who holds the feelings or memories you would like to meet outside of your body.

Entry: Admission is free; tickets are not required.
