Victoria Willmott
Victoria Willmott is a linocut printmaker and illustrator based in Bristol. She studied MA Multidisciplinary Printmaking at University of the West of England, Bristol and BA Illustration at Camberwell, College of Arts.
Inspired by her bicycle journeys in and out of the city, she takes any opportunity to pause and draw in her sketchbook. Creating bold, expressive sketches from life, depicting cityscapes to birds in flight. Victoria references narratives within her prints by connecting traditional fairy tales to modern day life.
Alongside her practice Victoria delivers printmaking and arts workshops and co-founded Bristol Print Collective, a group of likeminded printmakers running workshops, socials and pop up events in Bristol.
